Possible Cos play/Halloween/Zombie Walk costume ideas

In no particular order:

Nancy (Doctor Who): so a 1945 waifish, ragamuffin-esk type look. I like this one the most for converting to a zombie costume. I know she has a white top (it may be a dress) with something red underneath, she also wears plaits. I like this even though no one will know who I am.

Kaylee (Firefly): I already have steel-caps which I can substitute for combat boots. So I’d need a khaki jumpsuit of sorts. That shouldn’t be too hard (*cough*). I might be able to fashion something that I can tie the top half around my waist and wear a patterned top; that makes sense in my mind.

Moaning Myrtle: I have brown hair, it makes sense. Hermione is too cliché and the one time I dressed up as Lavender Brown everyone thought I was Hermione anyway and looked at me oddly when I told them I was Lavender. Plus she’s still a Gryffindor and where’s the fun in that? It was a bad idea in general. So, I have a white, shirt, vest, I would like a better tie and I need a skirt.

Death (of the Endless): If I could do something that resembles her dress in ah... oh damn, I can’t remember, maybe Seasons of Mist the big lacy one. I have a lacy dress but I believe hers has sleeves. But I think my best shot is the pants, boots, top, pendant, Heavy eye makeup with the swirl – ness that’s her in Endless Nights.

Katniss (The Hunger Games): This one’s a bit ambiguous but all I really need is some practical clothes, the steel-caps will probably come in to play, cargo pants etc. And I’d need to make a mockingjay pin. I’d really like to make one.
Rose (Vampire Academy): Quick, easy but also a bit ambiguous and no one will know who I am, but damn it, I don’t care. This one’s a big similar to Katniss, cargo pants, a hoodie with hair tied up. I’d need to design some molninja marks but that’s easy.

Jacky Faber (Bloody Jack Series): light blue floor-length dress (because that’s not going to be hard to find) or a white pants and top with a blue jacket. I really like the character but any of her costumes would be a bit difficult. Plus she doesn’t really have an item which defines her, oh she does but they would be difficult too; shiv with a rooster head handle or a penny whistle.

Actually, now that I think of it, no one's gonna know who I am if I dress up as any of these (except maybe Kaylee) but hey. I should also remember I have my Wendy dress, a white straight dress I could do something with, and a fairly decent pirate costume but it needs a hat.
