That's as close as I could come to a 'work' related musical reference without thinking too hard. It's my general rule that when in doubt go with 'Les Mis' opposed to the general, oh I forgotten his name, one of the football players ok, so him 'walks into a bar' (it's what we named our triva team a loooong time ago) and I'm missing the point well, the general rule of when in doubt go with Oscar Wilde.
I started work today. I know, you're proud of me too. But, hey, I actually really, really liked it. I'm a 'Santas Helper' for a photo company, and we've (I say we've but I really mean they've) got a train which the kids can ride on too. So I spent half the day making sure the gate to Santa was locked and directing people where to wait and half the day giving out train tickets and making sure everything was ok there. It's fun because you just have to be really excited and encourage people to see Santa and ride the train. And, dude, I'm an Eddie Ricer, I can do that in my sleep. By which I mean I can be enthusiastic like it's going out of style. Now, I'm not so crash hot at you know, selling people things and I did say the wrong thing a few times but I reckon if I keep to talking about Santa I should be sweet.
Oh! I did have the over whelming urge to give the 'Spunkrat' speech (I have ERC on the brain, I'm sorry), which is basically don't form relationships on camp!!! just don't do it!!!! Because there's about 10 girls being 'Santa's Helpers' and 2 guys being train conductors and they've got them in overalls and hats and my god is it cute, and then they're nice to children, the ladies do not stand a chance. My new best friend because she was standing next to me and helped me out on my first day, was being wooed me-thinks.
I'm working again tomorrow, so we'll see what I feel like then
Until next time,
Katherine
